Elon is right.
Announcement: the podcast is moving to @spotify! Starting on September 1 the podcast will be available on Spotify as well as all platforms, and then at the end of the year it will move exclusively to Spotify, including the video version. It will remain FREE, and it will be the exact same show. It’s just a licensing deal, so Spotify won’t have any creative control over the show. They want me to just continue doing it the way I’m doing it right now. We will still have clips up on YouTube but full versions of the show will only be on Spotify after the end of the year. I’m excited to have the support of the largest audio platform in the world and I hope you folks are there when we make the switch!
A true pleasure to sit down with the great Joel Salatin of @polyfacefarm. We got to talk about regenerative farming, healthy ecosystems and a bunch of other cool subjects. Truly an interesting and engaging man with a lifetime’s experience working and farming.
Hot Time! I’ve been doing the sauna everyday for 25 minutes at 180 degrees, and without fail somewhere around the 20 minute mark my inner bitch pipes up and wants to bail. It’s only 5 minutes, but it’s a LONG 5. That’s what I call “Hot Time.“ When time goes slow as fuck and I have to play a little mind game to stay calm and push through. Sometimes when my inner bitch gets too loud I punish him and go an extra 5. It’s a weird combination of discomfort and pleasure, and every time I get to those last 5 it seems to be the exact same amount of suck, no matter how often I do it or how much I prepare myself. It’s one of my favorite parts of the day.
Criminally under appreciated stand up comic, and the reason why we know the official story on the Kennedy assassination is bullshit. Dick brought the Zapruder film to the “Good Night America” show in 1975, 12 years after the murder. It was the first time the public got to see Kennedy’s head snap back and to the left, in a way many people believe indicated he was shot from the front, reigniting a firestorm of conspiracy theories. Dick was a civil rights activist, a brilliant social critic, and an incredibly accomplished author. He was all those things and more, but deep into his senior years the man STILL had some fucking killer stand up! RESPECT!! #Repost @almadrigal with @Rep0stApp • • • • • • • From Dick Gregory's set on Martin Lawrence 1st Amendment Stand Up.
I first learned of “The Book Of Five Rings” when I was a teenager obsessed with martial arts and the mindset required to succeed in intense competition. No better person to learn from than a samurai from 400 years ago who killed his first opponent in a duel when he was 13 and defeated over 60 men in one on one sword fights. There’s something about taking in these words that has always excited me about training, and increased my focus in all disciplines I pursue. It’s some undeniably inspiring shit, and I can’t recommend it enough.
